Manual flanged ball valve is mainly used to cut off or put through the medium, can also be used for fluid regulation and control.Compared with other valves, ball valves have the following advantages:
1, the fluid resistance is small, the ball valve is one of the least fluid resistance in all valves, even if it is a reduced diameter ball valve, its fluid resistance is quite small.
2, the switch is fast and convenient, as long as the stem rotates 90°, the ball valve will complete the fully open or fully closed action, it is easy to achieve fast opening and closing.
3, good sealing performance.Ball valve seat sealing ring is generally made of polytetrafluoroethylene and other elastic materials, easy to ensure sealing, and the sealing force of the ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.
4, the valve stem sealing is reliable.When the ball valve is opened and closed, the valve stem only rotates, so the packing seal of the valve stem is not easy to be destroyed, and the sealing force of the reverse seal of the valve stem increases with the increase of the medium pressure.
5. The opening and closing of the ball valve only does 90° rotation, so it is easy to achieve automatic control and remote control. The ball valve can be configured with pneumatic device, electric device, hydraulic device, gas-liquid linkage device or electro-hydraulic linkage device.
6, the ball valve channel is smooth, not easy to deposit medium, can be pipeline ball.
