TAIKE electric flange butterfly valves are widely used as opening and closing equipment in water supply and drainage systems in industries such as tap water, sewage, construction, and chemical engineering. So, how should this valve be installed correctly?
1. Place the valve between two pre installed flanges (flange butterfly valves require pre installed gasket positions at both ends);
2. Gently insert the bolts and nuts at both ends into the corresponding flange holes as shown in the diagram (flange butterfly valves require adjusting the gasket position), and tighten the nuts slightly to correct the flatness of the flange surface;
3. Fix the flange on the pipeline by spot welding;
4. Remove the valve;
5. Fully weld and fix the flange onto the pipeline;
6. After the welding joint cools down, install the valve to ensure that there is sufficient movement space in the flange to prevent damage to the valve, and ensure that the butterfly plate has a certain degree of opening (flange butterfly valves need to be sealed with additional gaskets); Correct the valve position and adjust the
Tighten all bolts (be careful not to overtighten); Open the valve to ensure that the valve plate can open and close freely, and then slightly open the valve plate;
7. Cross evenly tighten all nuts;
8. Confirm again that the valve can open and close freely, and note that the butterfly plate has not touched the pipeline.
